Helping you make business choices

Michael Lamb

I have 25 years experience leading business strategy and change in organisations of varying sizes and stages of development. I’ve also led and been significantly involved in over 100 acquisitions or partnerships, including contract negotiations, post-deal integration, and exits, so am able to add value in a wide range of situations. My experience spans multiple sectors, including publishing, education, information services, software and pharmaceuticals. I am motivated by helping businesses to make good choices.

I’ve led strategy and change from in-house and interim roles, and as a consultant. I was recently Head of Strategy for six years at Cambridge University Press, helping to reposition their business, driving digital transformation and major financial performance improvement. Before that, I was a consultant at leading strategy and accounting firms. I have also worked as an interim for Global Brands Group, Kingfisher, and the UK Department of Business. My career began at at the Institute for Manufacturing in Cambridge, where I helped companies to put new thinking about technology management into practice.
